Repetition: A Study

"Architecture has recorded the great ideas of the human race. Not only every religious symbol, but every human thought has its page in that vast book."
Victor Hugo

Recognition of repetition is the essence of human thought.

This series of photographs, taken mainly in Boston's Financial District and Clearwater, Florida, captures the concept of repetition in symmetry, pattern, color, and shape.

In this collection, conventional subject choice was disregarded in favor of fluid and homologous compositions.

Instead of being created by a single subject, the mood of each exposure is expressed by the sum of its contents.
